Who we are "This Privacy Policy explains how Ubuntu Autism Support CIC ('we', 'us') collects and uses your personal information. We are a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales (company number 17315053), with a registered office at Quayside Tower, 252–260 Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2HF. We are the data controller for the information described here. If you use our separate private services, you will be given separate privacy information for those." The information we collect "We may collect: your name and contact details; information you give us when you enquire, register for a group, workshop or event, or contact us; and information about the autistic person you are enquiring on behalf of, which may include health-related or support needs. We only collect information that is relevant to providing support, and only what you choose to share with us." Why we use your information, and our lawful basis "We use your information to respond to enquiries, organise and run our groups, workshops and events, provide support, and keep proper records. Depending on the situation, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in running our services, or the need to take steps at your request. Where we handle health-related or other special-category information, or information about children, we do so only with your explicit consent or where the law otherwise allows, and we take extra care with it." Children's information "Some of our work involves children and young people. Where we hold information about a child, we normally do so with the consent of a parent or person with parental responsibility, and we keep that information secure and share it only where necessary or where we are required to by law, including to keep a child safe." Sharing your information "We do not sell your information. We only share it where necessary — for example with a service provider that helps us run the website or our booking system, or where we are legally required to, or where we need to share information to protect someone from harm in line with our safeguarding responsibilities." Keeping your information secure and how long we keep it "We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to limit access to it. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, and then delete or anonymise it."
